Reggae Dancehall Superstar Charles Nii Armah Mensah details why he didn’t perform at Hobge Beach Rave.
Shatta Wale was contacted by His God farther, Bola Ray, For A Show.
Both parties agreed on one interview, which happened with Captain Smart at Onua TV.
On The day of the show, Shatta Wale, through his Road manager, made it known to the Organizers that he won’t attend any Interviews or Greet any chief because of the distance he would prefer to rest so he could perform at night with stress.
However, upon arrival, the program’s organisers took his entourage to a radio station; shatta wale then instructed his driver not to enter the station.
Upon inquiry from the organisers about why the radio station, the organisers told him, “If he doesn’t grant the interview, they won’t take him to his Hotel.”
Secondly, Tickets were not sold, so if Shatta doesn’t come for the interview, he can go where ever he wants.
Shatta wale and his team then returned to Accra.
Later in the day, the organisers were willing to pay shatta wale an extra 150k to have him on the show, but He declined due to the gross disrespect shown to him earlier.
In summary, Shatta Wale didn’t perform due to a breach of contract from the side of the organisers.
According to the organisers in an early post, Shatta Wale was nowhere to be found when it was time to perform though he was at Keta.
The question is, Did The Organisers confirm from the place they made Shatta wale to settle upon his arrival and he was nowhere to be found?
