The Constituency chairman of the Kwadaso branch of the National Democratic Congress (Ndc) Mr Issah Moro has stressed the need for the relevant authorities to advise the president.
To control his tongue when he is given the mandate to address public in the country.
Speaking to the correspondent in an interview Moro expressed worry about the manner in which Nana Akuffo Addo expressed himself during his recent four days official visit to the Ashanti Region.
Referring particularly to the alleged comments that the president made at the Otec FM, chairman Moro said the words that president used were not the best.
How can a whole president of a country could go to the extent of using a word, l don’t care, it is your right to vote for the Ndc because l have not constructed your roads.
Chairman Moro alleged that as a leader you are supposed to accommodate some issues.
Because some from the citizens could likely provoke you on whether you are performing or a failure.
In other words the citizens also have the rights to criticize if they feel that their demands are not met by the government.
This is the reason why every leader should be ready to accommodate the views of the citizenry on whether their views are relevant or not and take action.
Nana Akuffo Addo’s alleged comments at the Otec FM do not give a right signal for the country at the international scene, the Ndc chairman pointed out.
According to the Ndc stalwart it is against this background that hence he is appealing to the authorities especially the Members of Council State and the religious bodies.
To advise Nana Akuffo Addo to always control his tongue when he is given the opportunity to address the public in the country.
