Renowned Ghanaian Gospel musician and Evangelist Diana Asamoah has reacted to the termination of her contract with her former label Frimprince Productions by the label’s founder.
The label terminated its contract with her in a statement dated back to August 4, 2022, published on the label’s official Facebook page
Part of the terms of the termination of the contract has it that the celebrated singer’s right of referring to Mr. Anane Frimpong as her executive producer has been ceased. And will no longer have access to any of their digital platform to which she has been asked authoritatively to adhere.
However, the award-winning singer accepted her fate by agreeing to the termination but did not fathom one of the terms spelled out for her to comply (ownership of the songs released under the auspices of their label).
She requested that matters concerning her songs should be duly discussed with Pastor Simon Boama who she said is the writer and author of those songs.
“With reference to the conclusive part of your letter I plead to differ, any future issues with regards to me (Evangelist Diana Asamoah) using the songs, remaking or remixing them should kindly be channeled to Pastor Simon Boama the writer and author of the songs” part of her letter read.
