Football’s greatest icon, Lionel Messi is reportedly considering a move back to his former club Barcelona just two seasons after he left the club as a free agent.
The record Balon D’or holder is reportedly unsettled at PSG and will be weighing his options after the world cup.
According to sources, Barcelona have already initiated contacts with the player and his agents about a move back to the Camp Nou. The club have publicly admitted that the way and manner the player left the club was very disappointing and it’s therefore considering signing the player back. This they believe will be able to give him a proper sending off should he decide to retire or even leave the club again.
Messi is currently the second highest earner at PSG, with Mbappe’s contract renewal taking the first position on the club’s wage structure. Although he is still unsettled, Messi is focused on giving his best for the club and also having a good world cup later this year.
