The weather forecast for the hours ahead indicates that a rainstorm approaching Ghana from neighbouring west African countries will produce rains and thunderstorms in some part of Ghana.
Notably, the rainstorm is approaching Ghana is expected to give scattered case of rain and thunder is expected into the afternoon over the northern and transition zones.
Northeast, Upper East and Oti will be affected before drifting to the Upper West, Savannah, Bono and Ahafo regions
Misty weather is expected over high ground and Forest areas, as well as places along the coastal areas. Again, thunder and rain activities are expected over places within northern and transitional belts. The middle sector and areas north of coastal line expected to also experience rings later in the afternoon.
The coastal sector on the other hand especially in the eastern coast is expected to be generally stable with partly cloudy conditions.
Afternoon temperatures will be around 29 to 31 degrees Celsius whilst the evening will fall to around 26 and 29 degrees Celsius across the nation.
Possibilities of sunny conditions will be high in the afternoon around a Aflao, Accra, kasoa, and Cape coast.
