On Saturday, July 2, armed police in the Northern region raided Fancy Gadam’s home.
According to a report by MyNewsGh.com, police raided the home of one of the region’s most popular musical acts in connection with an alleged assault case involving his younger brother, Masib Bello.
Masib is accused of physically beating Halik Musah, a media figure.
Halik Musah, better known as DJ Tell, is a DJ for Radio Tamale in Tamale. He has long been a critic of Fancy Gadam.
His constant criticism of the artist has frayed their bond.
Their public separation has been punctuated in recent weeks by heated verbal fights on a variety of radio programs.
Halik is accused of interjecting the name of Fancy Gadam’s mother into their misunderstandings.
Masib became upset as a result, according to the news website, and assaulted the radio host. The nature, timing, and location of the assault, however, are unknown.
According to the website, the police attempted to arrest Masib at his house after Halik filed an official complaint.
Masib, on the other hand, had fled by the time they got to the house.
