Ghana’s national team ‘Black Stars’ is becoming more attractive than before lately. The team have seen more European-born players switching allegiance to represent the country in international football matches recently. The likes of Tarig Lamptey, Inaki Williams, Stephan Ambrosius etc have all agreed to play for the senior national team Black Stars.
GFA is also hitting at the doors of Chelsea Callum Hodson Odoi and Arsenal Striker Eddie Nketiah to switch allegiance to represent ghana. The current black stars team is entirely a young squad with an average age of 27. The team has a good future and with the support of the fans and Ghanaians, the team can win a major trophy.
Ghana has qualified for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar. It is the team’s fourth appearance in the history of the world cup. After missing out on the last edition in Russia, the team is back in Qatar and is ready to make history at the tournament.
Ghana’s quality in attack is going to give the head coach Otto Addo variations in tactics and formations. The Coach can decide to play a 4-4-2 formation with the Ayew brothers leading the lines. A 4-3-3 formation with two wingers and one striker or a 4-2-3-1 formation with more attackers on the field of play. Any of the said formations is going to help the team but Ghana can only score more goals with this trio in the attack.
Kamaldeen Suleman, Inaki Williams, Kudus Mohammed
Kamaldeen has established himself as a starter in the black stars team lately. He is good at taking on defenders and also has good dribble skills. He creates set-pieces for the team in the final third.
Kudus Mohammed has some similarities with Kamaldeen. The Ajax man has dribbling skills and great vision. Unlike Kamaldeen, Kudus is a good goal scorer. He creates a lot of chances for the team in the final third.
Inaki Williams is yet to feature for the black stars in any competitive game. The 28-year-old striker has good hold-up play. He is sharp in the box and also good with aerial balls. Above all Inaki is a good goal scorer that all of our strikers at the moment.
One good thing about this trio is that all of them are quick with the ball at their feet and can cause trouble for any sort of defence in the world.
