The president of Ghana, Akufo Addo has rented another private jet which cost €20,000 an hour from a at Germany.
The issue of presidential jet become the talk of the day when the president was said to rent a private jet for all his travels at a very high cost. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa has made another revelation about the government travels. He said the government has rented a private jet from a German which will cost the ordinary Ghanaian GHS4.1million. He explained that “President Akufo-Addo incorrigibly rents €20,000 an hour ACJ319 ultra-luxury jet, registered D-ALEX from German operator K5 Aviation. This trip is costing the Ghanaian taxpayer €480,000 which is equal to GHS4.1million.”
A social media user also expressed his view that “The President should stop wasting tax payers money. This is not the time to be wasting Money. I think Ghana should have their own private Jet because it’s better than renting one all the time.”
