Today, the Speaker of Parliament has made an appearance to the floor of Parliament and he is addressing the Parliament and responding to the questions been directed to him.
As he begun addressing the house, the Speaker of Parliament pleaded with the Finance Minister to remove his nose mask as a result of difficulty of members to hear him, he refused. Most often than not, the Minister is usually inaudible so it was right for the Speaker to tell him to remove the nose mask.
In response, the finance Minister explained that because of his Covid-19 complications in 2020 he will not be able to remove his N-95 nose mask.
This development made Ghanaians to react massively. Some Ghanaians believed that the Speaker of Parliament was trying to be strict towards the finance minister and according to them, this will create some enmity between the duo. Others also attributed Ofori Atta to disrespect and explained that he was doing this because he knows he will never be sacked.
