Empress Gifty, a Ghanaian gospel singer, has disclosed the cause for the thinly veiled hatred directed at her. She stated this in an interview on why people who talk evil are motivated by jealousy.
In her typical straightforwardness, Empress Gifty declined to reveal the backers of her current music video. She opted to keep the identities of her aides hidden for fear of jeopardizing the bond she had created.
Speaking on why many naysayers have gathered around her ministry, Empress Gifty said “They hate me because I have something that they don’t have. I carry a presence. I carry something, and they don’t have it. So that is why. Anything you don’t have, you speak ill about it.”
Empress Gifty also discussed her appearance on the Bhim Concert stage, as well as the controversy that surrounded her involvement in the secular concert. That is her style of evangelism, she claims, and she has no plans to change it. As a result, people should anticipate her to preach the gospel on comparable venues.

Go into the world. How do they define it? And for me, it was a prayer that I prayed towards ‘Eye Woa’ production. I told God I want to move out of my comfort zone. When you are a gospel musician, it’s all about church and church. I want to go to where people don’t want to go. I want to do my evangelism in a different way, in a different style.
