There are several Qualifiers going on across all the continents in the world towards the upcoming FIFA World Cup. The target of every national team is to make it to the 2022 FIFA World Cup which would be held in Qatar next year.
Unlike Ghana and other African national teams which are awaiting qualification, there are few teams that have secured spots in the 2022 FIFA World Cup. The national teams include host of the tournament, Qatar.
The rest of the national teams include:
1. Germany -Winners of UEFA Group J
2. France – Winners of UEFA Group D
3. Denmark – Winners of UEFA Group F
4. Brazil – One of the Top 4 CONMEBOL teams
5. Belgium – Winners of UEFA Group E
6. Croatia – Winners of UEFA Group H
7. Spain – Winners of UEFA Group B
8. Serbia – Winners of UEFA Group A
9. England – Winners of UEFA Group I
10. Switzerland – Winners of UEFA Group C
Just like in Africa, there are other European national teams which would also play in the Playoffs in order to secure a spot in the 2022 tournament. Some of these teams include Portugal, Italy, Scotland, Sweden, Russia, Poland etc.
