Multi-instrumentalist Eddy Koomson is out with his debut album titled ‘Songs from the Prayer Room’.
The 11-track album comprises original and public domain songs, hymns, and instrumental pieces of prayer curated with the aim of providing listeners with a closet or congregational worship experience.
It features a star-studded list of gospel artistes who Eddy has had the pleasure of working with on music projects and live concerts.
They include MOGmusic, Niiella, Luigi Maclean, Philip Adzale, Kofi Owusu Peprah, and Kyei Mensah, and instrumentalists such as Opoku Sanaa, Joe Wilson, Charlie Keyz, Obed, Aaron Orleans Thompson, Isaac Siaw and Obeng King.
All 11 songs were beautifully arranged by Eddy Koomson with the help of his able bandmates.
“This album is inspired from a personal experience of intimacy with God at the height of the Covid-19 pandemic. Amidst the chaos and strain on human interaction, I found an assuring refuge in Christ Jesus through prayer,” he said.
‘Songs from The Prayer Room’ is out and available on all digital music stores including Boomplay, Apple Music, Spotify, Deezer, Aftown, among others.Listen to the album here: https://eddykoomson.fanlink.to/SFTPR
