At this time of the season, it is the aspirations of every player to don the jersey of the best club. Globally, players prefer a stint with a team that guarantees domestic and continental success. Narrowing down to Ghana, Accra Hearts of Oak have won the Ghana Premier League, and will be featuring in CAF Champions League, hence most players favor a move to the capital-based club.

Numerous players have been linked with the club. Every day has its story of transfers for Accra Hearts of Oak. Obviously, coach Samuel Boadu and his assistants may prefer additions in the team and that gives room to most of the story linking players to the club. From goalkeepers to defenders through midfielders and strikers have been associated with the Hearts of Oak.

It is worth pointing out that, Accra Hearts of Oak will need to slow down if these rumors are anything to go by. The players being linked to the club may not be completely strong enough to beat the current players for position. The current crop of players have what it takes to represent the club in CAF inter club competition.

Although playing in domestic league is different from CAF Champions League, these are players who played their hearts out and beat strong contenders such as Asante Kotoko to the trophy.

For the time being, telepathy has been far established among these players and can deliver at the next level. With the same team work and spirit, they could surprise opponents in the CAF Champions League. Throwing players at the club especially at this time has its consequences which could derail investments made in the players available now.

The attractive nature of the team makes it compelling for others to make rumors out of it. Coach Samuel Boadu must have confidence in the current set up, ensuring those player are given ample time by way of training for the task ahead.

Additions that are not made strategically could change the focus and narrative of the team.

A painstaking assessment of the team points out the strength and confidence with which the squad plays with.

The team ought to move cautiously as they prepare fervently for CAF Champions League. They can make or unmake themselves based on how they handle the transfer moments of the club. A change in the entire team has its repercussions and that must guard them in the quest to conquer Africa.
