The Ghana Police Service under the able leadership of the Inspector General of Police James Oppong Boanu have flown 8 police men to Madrid,in Spain to learn more about how to tackle Terrorism, transnational crimes and armed robbery.
According to the Police Public relations release, the trip was sponsored by the European union. Ghana was previleged to be part of the selected countries for this exercise. Kenya and some other west African countries have earlier benefited from same sponsoship.
THE 8 POLICE MEN IN MADRID SPAIN
The Hardworking IGP is doing all that he can to make armed Robbery unattractive in Ghana. Although there haven’t been any significant terrorist attacks, experts are always trained and armed to meet any attack of that sort.
The 8 police men who were flown to Spain will Serve as “Trainer of Trainers”. That Means they will train more police men about what they learnt in far Madrid -Spain.
