Pressure is mounting on the Late Mfantseman MP’s Wife Honorable Ophelia Quansa Hayford to resign from both her positions as a Member of Parliament for the Mfantseman Constituency and a ranking member on the Parliamentary commitee on Defence.
The group emanating from the Central Region of Ghana started their pressure mount on Shining Star FM. They explained that, words from Honorable Ophelia Quansa Hayford in relation to how a Policeman was shot dead by armed Robbers is highly offensive and unfortunate.
” She must Resign from Parliament because her words doesn’t reflect a mother. Somebody whose husband passed on in the heat of a highly insecured system should have spoken Against the menace.
What did she say? That the shooting of a builion vehicle doesn’t mean there is insecurity in the country. What power can do. Ophelia Quansa Hayford, did you really say this ? Resign Honorably” their leader who is an Assembly Man called Dada Asampong Explained.
Some NPP supporters who called on the show supported their MPs words. They criticised the group demanding for the Resignation that, Honorabe Ophelia Quansa Hayford have her right to speak in freedom. She should ignore the empty noise of resignation and move on. This is because those making that noise are known NDC members who are still in the dream of winning elections through noise making.
Musician A- Plus had earlier criticised the same woman that her Late husband Ekow Quansa Hayford will turn in his grave over her recent comments.
She is however quiet over the matter.
