Comedian DKB complained to the police station that Akuapem Poloo is defaming him over some missing 4,000 cedis from donations made to her.
Derick Kobina Bonney, popularly known as DKB, revealed that he reported Akuapem Poloo to authorities. Earlier yesterday, Akuapem Poloo made a video claiming she has not received any money from the comedian.
According to Akuapem Poloo, she received a call from a woman who claimed to have given DKB 4,000 cedis to be given to her. But she hasn’t received any money from him, neither is he answering her calls.
This video has since gone viral, with commentators questioning DKB over his purported support for the actress during her stay in prison. In response, the comedian has complained to the police station stating he does not know the said benefactor (Mama Alice) and has not received money from her.
He also posted a picture of his statement with the caption, “You can either be ungrateful or a defamer, but you decided to be the two. I swear on every sweat, blood and insults I have received. The extent to which I went to support is the same extent I will drag you over this. It ‘go over’ you. Be careful when helping a Ghanaian. I’ll really regret everything.”
During Akuapem Poloo’s time in jail, DKB urged Ghanaians to donate in support of the actress. He claimed that the account numbers he shared with the public belonged to the actress, who came out to refute the claim. And insist she, Akuapem Poloo, has not received any monies from DKB.
