National Communications Officer of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) Sammy Gyamfi has branded the current government as thieves and nation wreckers during his meeting with the Tertiary Education Institute Network (TEIN) the University of Cape Coast Chapter citing Kennedy Agyapong as the source for such utterances.
Sammy Gyamfi while addressing a TEIN meeting asked the UCC Students to listen to Hon. Kennedy Agyapong, MP for Assin Central when he spoke about wealth grabbing by appointees of the current government.
” Ghana is broke all because of the clueless Akufo Addo and Bawumiah government. 3ye Za! Today, even future revenue streams have been mortgaged by this government. If you get to know some of the sordid deals they have done, you’ll weep for Ghana. You will know that indeed, Akufo Addo and Bawumiah came to power to steal, kill and destroy because even revenue that are yet to be collected have been mortgaged for the next 10 years to collect a loan of $1.5billion with nothing to show for it…”
He went on to disclosed to the students that although he is a graduate of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, he is registering as a TEIN member of Cape Coast University.
The occasion was graced by notable faces in the NDC including recent NDC Candidate for the Ayawaso West Wuogon John Dumelo, MP for Cape Coast North Kwamena Mintah Nyarko.
