Former President of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama says he has noted that Ghana’s politics has degenerated into politics of insults and violence.
According to him, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) intends to abide by ethics and present its message in a clear and succinct manner to the people of Ghana.
The flagbearer of the NDC revealed that he does not intend to join the politics of insults in the December 2020 general elections.
He noted that the NDC in doing this will change the face of politics in Ghana by ensuring that its promises to the people is a social contract between the government and the people and will ensure that these promises are honoured.
The NDC she observed, will not lie its way into power in 2020 because a number of persons in the country continue to lose interest in the country considering the fact that some politicians have over the years lied their way into power.
“Politics in Ghana has been reduced to that of insults but the NDC pledges to abide by ethics, and will present its message in a clear and succinct manner. We will change the face of politics in Ghana.”
“We will present our promises which will be a social contract between the government and the people and will ensure that we will fulfill these promises.”
