Music artiste, Bisa Kdei born Ronald Kwaku Dei Appiah says there is no need comparing him and the young artistes in Ghana currently.
According to him, it’s important to rather encourage artistes to do more for the industry rather than unnecessary comparism that will lead to competition.
To him, when you visit Nigeria and other African countries, they encourage rather than compare new artistes to the older ones so that needs to be reciprocated in Ghana.
He made this known while speaking to Dj Mac in an interview on Instagram.
He said “I always try to correct people when they ask if I feel threatened by them, we shouldn’t try to create confusion between old and new artistes”.
“We need to encourage artiste to do more so we can project the image of highlife to the next level…now we have the likes of King Promise, Kuame Eugene, Kidi and it is beautiful and amazing.”
“We should learn to encourage the artiste just like Cote d’Ivoire, Congo and others are doing.”
