The President has, through his secretary, replied to Auditor-General Daniel Yaw Domelovo’s letter, refusing his appeal for a rescission of the earlier directive that he(Domelovo) proceed on leave and insisting that the Labour Act applies to him and that he proceed on leave his leave that has now been increased to 167 days.
Yaw Domelovo had been directed by the President to go on his accumulated leave but he wrote back yesterday to the President raising issues of legality and bad faith in the President’s directive but the President’s reply has emphasized that he(President) acted legally and that Mr Domelovo must take his accumulated leave.
