Media General’s MzGee says she left Multimedia because there were a lot of bitter people in her circle at the establishment.

According to her, these individuals did not like the fact that she came to meet them but she was doing an exceptional job and gaining all the attention.

“I met fantastic people at Multimedia. But in every Media organization there is something that people are looking for that they don’t get. Everybody and the kind of growth they are looking for. I think It got to a point I was looking for certain kind of growth but I wasn’t getting it and there were too many, I’m saying it for the first time I haven’t spoken about it.

There were too many bitter people in Multimedia among my colleagues. Very bitter colleagues I had that didn’t feel comfortable that I came to meet them on the job and they know they know themselves. I won’t mention names. Colleagues on the job, they are so bitter and I’ve unfollowed all of them so if you find out who I’ve unfollowed you will know them”. She revealed

MzGee said that her colleagues ganged up against her and sold her out to artistes and other personalities they discussed during meetings.

“They were so bitter that they ganged up against me and they know themselves and to the extent that if we go on a table and let’s say we’re having a meeting discussing our stories, they can actually pick a phone and call the individuals we do stories about and tell them what I said about them. I’ve had an encounter with Edem who said someone had said I said something about him in a meeting where we are supposed to jaw jaw about stories and Edem disgraced me in front of multimedia because of this.

It got to a point some people felt I was growing too fast so anything they will do to curtail my movement they will do. So as for leaving Multimedia, there are people who are still not happy that I left but I left for my happiness, my own peace of mind and my safety. I was happy when I was leaving but I just wanted to see whether they will shine when I leave, I wanted to see if I was the one deeming their light and I also wanted to see if i was only good at Multimedia”.
