It was a happy day and at the same time a sad one for Prophet Kofi Nkwantabisa of Nkwantabisa Prayer Ministry, he said, at the christening of his new baby girl yesterday, August 26 at Kenyasi Bosore in the Ashanti Region.
The extraordinary event was witnessed by family, friends, men of God, journalists and also some dignitaries. In his speech addressing and also throwing more light on the ceremony, the prophet disclosed to the hearing of the sea of heads present at the event the reason for his earlier statement.
According to him, it was a joyful day because of how amazingly God has blessed him over the years especially in his marriage, blessing him with two kids despite her wife’s inability to give birth due to a medical condition with her womb. The amount of praise he heaped on the Lord Almighty and also his in-laws need much to be desired.
Voicing out why it was a sad day, the Prophet disclosed that it has been a struggle in his 12-year marriage as his dear wife suffered several miscarriages. The ordeal she went through with the substantial amount of abuses she has suffered on the hands of people is hard to comprehend. All these miseries came after a prophet has prophesied bareness over his wife. “It was easy,” he said.
“She (his wife) came home crying one day after trying to stop a fight between his mother and another woman. The woman, in turn, referred to her as barren,” he stated.
“I felt very bad. I took Voltic water, I prayed over it and gave to my wife to drink. Amazingly, her womb was restored and she gave birth to our firstborn eventually,” he added.
As part of the christening, Prophet Nkwantabisa dished out a sum of GHs5000 in welcoming his daughter, Immaculate Nkwantabisa to the world. Also, with the help of Nana Yaw Osafo Pasuapa, Paramount Chief of Mim Traditional Area, the Prophet presented his wife with a vehicle, a red Daewoo Matiz.
Speaking to Kumasionlinegh.com, the prophet urged all and sundry to use his experience as motivation to continue to have faith in God.
