One of the news which hit Nigeria and the world in general was the death of Nigeria’s popularly gospel musician Osinachi Nwachukwu. The “Ekuweme” hit maker according to their family, friends and children was maltreated by the husband in so many ways. According to the people around the late singer, the husband use to beat and abuse her, setting all kind of rules on her to the extent of not allowing her use her own car, and prevented people from giving her gift or even performing at shows. Prior to her demise, it was said the husband beat her which landed her in the hospital leading to her death. After these revelations from her family and friends popped up, the Nigerian Police went for him and arranged him before court. The final judgement was passed yesterday on the 29th of May, 2022. The judge sentenced Mr. Osinachi to death by hanging. He was accused of many charges such as First degree murder, Homicide among others.
