A dead human body has been washed ashore at Winneba beach in the Central Region of Ghana. The deceased is yet to be identified. Residents however believe the deceased might be a student at the University of Education, Winneba. Assembly Member for the Ndaama Electoral Area, William De – Carthia told Bryt FM News Correspondent Eric Owusu Amponsah that, “I had a call that a dead body has been washed ashore so I went to the scene and indeed saw a young man half naked washed ashore at the beach . So I informed the Winneba Police which a CID was appointed to follow me to the scene . After taken inventories the body was conveyed to Effutu Hospital Morgue”.
