Head of Communications for Zylofon Music, Arnold Asamoah Baidoo has debunked claims by a section of the public that Shatta Wale’s display of obscenity is a disgrace to the Record Label.
Shatta Wale dominated several discussions last week after a video of two men receiving bloj*b from a lady was leaked on his snap chat.
The artiste realizing he had mistakenly leaked the video deleted it but was unlucky because it had already been captured by some bloggers.
Shatta Wale after the video leaked insulted Journalists who downloaded the video saying he is richer than every Journalist(blogger) in the country.
Shatta Wale after reflecting on the issue apologised to his followers, general public and the media for the display of obscenity and insults rained on the media.
Reacting to the story on Accra-based Happy FM, Arnold Asamoah who is the Communications Director for Zylofon Music said while addressing whether the action of the artiste is a disgrace to the label that “That is your opinion, you are not the only one saying it is a disgrace. To us people can say that but it is allowed, people are saying he has disgraced Zylofon media and so on, it is allowed, things like this can happen when engaging artistes. This has happened all over the world, and artistes management has been always difficult”.
He added: “I don’t recall the last time Shatta Wale apologized to the media after insulting them. How many times has he apologized for his actions? It takes a bold personality by Shatta Wale to come out and apologize. His apology indicates that he has admitted his mistakes, and he’s remorseful and regretted”.
He, however indicated that “We are using internal mechanism to deal with this unfortunate incident”.
