A 60-year-old church elder of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana Ascension Congregation, Koforidua in the Eastern Region who failed to shelve his unbridled libido has bonked himself to death.
It is gathered that the elder who is a treasurer of the church reportedly booked a hotel room at Nkrukan and decided to sneak in with his 40-year-old woman who is said to be a member of his church in order for both to satisfy their lustful pleasures.
William Osae-Ansah as identified according to checks at the Guest House [Su Su Sei Me Guest House] had booked the facility at about 9:25 am and checked in moments later with the lady he is reported to have been engaged in an amorous sexual relationship with for some time now.
Moments after they entered the room, the lady rushed out gasping for breath and seeking help from the receptionist with the explanation that Elder William Osae-Ansah had collapsed just moments into the first bout and was unresponsive.
Managers of the hotel rushed in to confirm what had been reported but also tried to revive him to no avail.
In the ensuing melee, there was no other option than lodge a complaint with the police who rushed to the scene to commence investigations while the body was conveyed to the hospital and certified as dead on arrival.
MyNewsGh.com gathered that it has since been deposited at the Eastern Regional Hospital morgue in Koforidua for preservation pending postmortem examination to determine the actual cause of death.
The woman at the center of the incident has been arrested and assisting police in their investigations.
