Chief Executive Officer of Media Excel, Kwasi Ernest dared Joyce Blessing to arrest him if he shortchanged her while managing her.
Joyce Blessing in an interview on Accra-based Kasapa FM said while under Kwasi Ernest, he could charge an amount and under declare to her.
She recalled one time when she had to argue with a Pastor who to her was paying a meager sum and wanted her to perform for two days not knowing her manager had charged more but under declared to her.
“Sometimes Kwesi Ernest can charge over ten thousand cedis and come and tell myself and my husband that he charged three thousand. One time I had to quarrel with a Pastor because I thought the money he was paying for me to perform for two days was small. The Pastor revealed to me that he paid than the amount I was quoting; an indication that Kwesi Ernest had cheated me,” she said in an interview on Kasapa FM and monitored by MyNewsGh.Com.
But reacting to the claims by Joyce Blessing, Kwesi Ernest on Accra-based Hitz FM asked her to report to the Police if he has ever shortchanged her. According to him, if she genuinely know that he has cheated her, she should take him to court so that he will pay back all monies he has taken from her while they worked together.
“I am saying that she has to sue me because this is a criminal thing so I pleading with her and her husband to come and arrest me now because they have evidence of me cheating her and a criminal who has stolen from her should not be walking freely, I have to be arrested,” he told Andy Dosty.
He indicated that he had a bigger dream of making Joyce Blessing the biggest gospel artiste in Africa so his pain will be that Joyce Blessing with her beautiful talent and current label with all the finances could not become bigger like he envisaged for her.
