Attorney General Godfred Yeboah Dame has been cautioned by former minority leader Haruna Iddrisu not to appeal the Court of Appeal’s decision that dismissed and cleared minority leader Cassiel Ato Forson.
The MP for Tamale South said the AG risks further disgrace if he attempts to appeal the Court of Appeals ruling.
The trial court’s order for Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson, the minority leader, to present his defense in the ambulance case was overturned by the court, which also cleared Dr. Ato Forson.
As the Minority Leader triumphed in Parliament, Haruna Iddrisu proposed that the Attorney General ought to concede to the circumstances.
“I hear the Attorney General even instead of swallowing his humble pride, is saying that he wants to litigate on this matter.
“Mr Speaker, we assure him that he will be further disgraced because, in this matter if you want to try people try them on matters which are legally meritorious,” he stated.
