NPP chairman Odeneho Kwaku Appiah, also known as COKA, rallied party members in Ejisu and urged them to stay watchful until Lawyer Kwabena Boateng wins the upcoming by-election. COKA is a former chairman of the Afigya Kwabre South Constituency.
Chairman Odeneho spoke to supporters following a unity walk in Ejisu and stressed the value of cooperation and aggressive campaigning to secure a decisive win for their candidate. In order for the party to successfully spread its message to every electorate in the region, he emphasized the importance of door-to-door campaigns.
“We need to band together and run a nonstop campaign to win this Tuesday’s by-election for Lawyer Boateng,” he said.
Highlighting the significance of the by-election in parliamentary affairs, Chairman Odeneho called on all party members to pool resources and effort towards ensuring an NPP triumph.
But he issued a warning against using divisive language, as it might hurt the party’s prospects of winning the election.
The by-election was triggered by the untimely passing of the NPP Member of Parliament for Ejisu, John Kumah, who also served as Deputy Finance Minister.
