The actress known by her stage name, Adomaa Adjeman, is prepared to make her stage debut.
In her most recent venture away from the spotlight and microphone, the singer-songwriter and actress is playing the title role in Prof. Martin Owusu’s The Legend of Aku Sika.
Speaking of debuts, Naa Ashorkor, a well-known actor in theatre, film, and television, will be directing this production for the first time.

In honour of Prof. Martin Owusu, the artwork, which was created in collaboration with Image Bureau, April Communications, and the National Theatre, will be on display at the National Theatre in Accra on June 1, 2, 8, and 9, 2024.

The Legend of Aku Sika captures the story of a disabled girl in search of love, wandering in the maze of destiny.
As a singer, Adomaa has collaborated with industry heavyweights like M.anifest, Efya, EL, and Stonebwoy. In the meantime. She gained notoriety on screen as the lead character in Shirley Frimpong-Manso’s most recent television hit, Dede.
Prof Martin Okyere Owusu, 81, is a living legend of acclaimed playwright, acting and directing deeds. He is the author of books such as The Legend of Aku Sika, Sudden Return, and The Story Ananse Told, among others.
In 1963, the Mfantsipim Senior High School alumnus was one of 12 students to first take the Drama & Theatre programme at the University of Ghana, Legon, where he currently lectures as drama professor.
