A former member of parliament for La Dadekotopon on the ticket of the opposition National Democratic Congress, Hon. Sylvester Adinam Mensah who also served as the Chief Executive Officer of National Health Insurance Authority under the erstwhile John Dramani Mahama’s administration has declared his stance on the upcoming chairmanship race for the party.
Mr Sylvester Mensah in a post sighted on his twitter account throws his support for Chairman Samuel Ofosu Ampofo and rallies support and votes for him to be retained.
It is also seen that in as much as he admires the General Secretary, he believes some positions are for some specific talents.
He revealed further that he will forever vote for Johnson Asiedu Nketia as General Secretary but not president, the same way he will vote for Dr Samuel Ofosu Ampofo as the national chairman.
“Talent, Popularity, and admiration can sometimes be position-specific!
I admire, adore and applaud Hon Johnson Asiedu Nketia, alias, General Mosquito, for his role and performance as General Secretary of the NDC and the unique wits and articulation he brings to bear on the position.
In the same measure I have my thumbs up for Chairman Ampofo for the organizational prowess and calm but firm disposition he brings to the party’s leadership”
He concluded by soliciting for votes for Chairman Samuel Ofosu Ampofo.
“It does not take much consideration therefore to lend my support to Chairman Ampofo for Chairman. Join me to rally support and votes for Chairman Ofosu Ampofo to be retained!”
