Slavko Matić is a Serbian football. He is a holder of the UEFA Pro Licence. He played for OFK Beograd, Spartak Moscow, PFC Slavia Sofia and PFC CSKA Sofia.
The Phobia coach has express his reasons why he don’t need the two long serving players of the great Oak tree.
According to reports, Hearts of Oak are closing in on two actual signings for the first team to boost their squad for the ongoing campaign.
It has been rumored that the Phobians will sign both Razak Kassim and Maxwell Abbey Quaye if nothing goes wrong.
The pair were linked to join the club before the 2022/23 season. However, a deal couldn’t be reached.
Despite this, a reliable sports news can report that Hearts are still favourites to complete both deals.
Following the failure to sign the Black Galaxies duo after the previous campaign, Razak Kassim ended up extending his contract with Great Olympics but reports have claimed that the Phobians held a secret meeting with the player’s management for his services.
Meanwhile, Maxwell Abbey Quaye refused to sign a new deal with Legon Cities. He is without any club at the moment but expected to join the FA Cup holders. Abbey is hoping to get the deal done early to stand a chance to play at the CHAN tournament in January with the Black Galaxies.
The deals would no doubt be brilliant options for Slavko Matic to have at his disposal.
Abbey and Kassim have demonstrated over the last two seasons that they have developed an eye for good football, playing regularly at the club level.
The signing of these players could set Hearts of Oak up for bigger and better things in the local league
