Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Samuel Ofosu Ampofo says he is confident delegates of the party will renew his mandate on Saturday, December 17.
He says his message has been well received by delegates of the NDC across the various constituencies in the country.
“The reception has been overwhelming; my campaign message has been received by the delegates and they have appreciated the kind of work that I’ve done for them for the past four years and they have assured me that they will renew my mandate to continue the unfinished agenda that I set myself to do.”
The National Democratic Congress (NDC) will on December 17, 2022, go to the polls to elect leaders to steer the affairs of the political party for the next four years.
Mr Ofosu Ampofo is seeking to retain his position as Chairman of the NDC, but will have to fend off what promises to be the biggest challenge of his political career in the person of Mr Johnson Asiedu Nketia.
Mr Asiedu Nketia, alias General Mosquito, is the current General Secretary of the NDC, but he is now seeking to lead the party as its Chairman.
