In a recent interview with seasoned entertainment host Sammy Flex on Class TV, Ghanaian Dancehall musician, Shatta Wale who possibly has the largest fan base in Ghana, revealed how his feud with Burna Boy began.
The SM boss stated that Burna Boy beefing with him when he listened to a group of people who left his team and started badmouthing him.
Regardless of that, he mentioned that he supports Burna Boy’s hustle and is definitely pleased with how his brand has skyrocketed since they collaborated on the song Hossana back in 2017. Their well-documented dispute recently reached a fever pitch.
In his words, despite the air of animosity blowing between him and his Nigerian counterpart Burna Boy, he will forever have a spot in his heart as his ‘Gee.’
Similarly, Shatta Wale has shared his thoughts about the infamous no-show Wizkid pulled in Ghana over his Accra Concert.
This online portal previously reported that the much-touted Wizkid Live Concert in Accra ended in smoke literally after patrons stood for hours waiting for the headliner from Nigeria to come and give them their money’s worth but he was nowhere to be found.
Some attendees and bloggers who attended the event reported that the DJ and MC for the events were left to keep the crowd going for over two hours after local stars like Yaw Tog mounted the stage to perform.
Despite the long wait, Wizkid and the other headline musicians failed to turn up at the concert. Multiple sources online say a lot of people who purchased the tickets are requesting that the musician refunds their money to them.
As the issue continues to trend on social media and attracts varied reactions from all quarters, Shatta Wale weighed in on the subject.
According to the SM boss, Wizkid wasn’t actually to blame for what transpired because God’s will prevented the stadium from being sold out.
