The Black Stars of Ghana failed to reach the round sixteen of the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar after a poor outing.
The Black Stars lost two group games and won just one of the group H games at their fourth World Cup appearance.
The Black Stars opened their World Cup campaign with a loss which happened against former European champions, Portugal by 3-2 at the 974 Stadium in Qatar.
The Black Stars however came back stronger in their second game of the group where they defeated Asians, South Korea by 3-2.
Their second game gave them the entire nation a glimmer of hope as to qualifying for the round of sixteen.
Their third and final group H game however sent shockwaves down the spine of all Ghanaians after they lost to old foes, Uruguay by 2-0.
The defeat meant the Black Atars earned just three points from the three group games and exited the tournament at the group stage.
One of the players to have been criticized for not performing well is Arsenal midfielder and deputy Black Stars captain, Thomas Partey.
The former Atletico Madrid midfielder has since returned to training at Arsenal md rearing to go for the club in English Premier League.
