It seems the battle in court between the Ghanaian politician Chairman Wontumi and political activist Kwame A Plus is not ending anytime soon as the latter has been sued again.
A Plus, Nana Ama McBrown, and Mr. Logic were sued by the Ashante Regional Chairman for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Chairman Wontumi over comments made on the entertainment show on UTV.
A Plus and the other contemnors were charged to pay GHc65,000 to the applicant while Afia Schwar was fined 5,000 penalty units (GHc60,000).
According to reports, Chairman Wontumi has sued A Plus over certain comments he made on the United show over the weekend. A writ of summons for Kwame Asare Obeng A Plus is seen circulating on social media.
A Plus is expected to be in court on December the 13th, 2022. The reason why A Plus is being dragged to court is yet to be known.
Recall that on Saturday, Nana Ama McBrown rendered an apology to Chairman Wontumi for interfering in court issues and made some pronouncements they were not supposed to make. However, A Plus was seen on set saying he would context the judgment and go for an appeal because he is unsatisfied with the judgment.
