The founder and leader of the New Jerusalem Chapel sited at Kumasi Ampayoo in the Ashanti Region, Bishop Dr John Yaw Adu has disclosed that if politicians and journalists would come together and speak the truth, the transformation of the country would be realized.
This is because politicians and journalists have great influence in the society when they speak.
Speaking to the Correspondent King Amoah in an interview, the clergy expressed worry that though some of these politicians and journalists are aware that they can use their profession to transform the country, some of them refuse to discharge such lawful mandates.
He said some of these intellectuals allegedly wrongfully follow certain elements and deviate from the truth and engage in stories that have the tendencies to cause hatred and confusions in the country.
According to Bishop Dr John Yaw Adu, as the country is in democratic dispensation it would be prudent if politicians and journalists would use their medium to promote government policies for the benefit of the citizenry.
The man of God hinted that the alleged blame games that have bedeviled some Ghanaians over the challenges confronting the country cannot solve the problems.
Insisting that what matters most is unity and the citizens eagerness to explain the global challenges to each other to get better understanding about the conditions that the country finds itself now.
By so doing Bishop Adu reiterated Ghanaians would throw their weights on President Nana Akuffo Addo in his bid to fix the country.
It is against this background that hence the powerful man of God is urging politicians and journalists to bury their political differences and use their influences to promote the development of the country.
Stay tuned.
