Chelsea and Manchester United are set to battle for the signature of Netherlands stars, Cody Gakpo and Frankie De Jong after their performance in the first game against Senegal.
The attacker’s brilliant movement after a cross field pass by Frankie De Jong was enough to send the European side into the lead before Davy Klassen’s rebound effort to see Netherlands take the 3 points from the game.
Both Frankie De Jong and Cody Gakpo have been hot targets for clubs in the last transfer window and it has been speculated that the two players could leave their respective clubs in the January transfer window.
Frankie De Jong has however, insisted he is very happy at Barcelona despite the club trying to force him to move. Cody Gakpo on the other side was close to a move to Manchester United but the Red Devils pulled the plug to sign Antony from Ajax instead.
