Asante Kotoko’s fine form was given a jolt on Saturday when Real Tamale United tamed them in week eight.
The Porcupine Warriors gave away a first half goal to lose 2-1 to the “Pride of the North” at the Aliu Mahama Stadium.
Deputy coach of Asante Kotoko describes the moment as one of their worse of the season.
“We lacked concentration in the second half especially our four back and the opponent capitalized on that one then overturned the result.
“Today I must say that this is one of the bad days that we can think of as far as Kotoko is concerned because consistently away games we have been doing better.
“Look at the chances that we have created, so many chances we created to bury the game in the first half but unfortunately we couldn’t get that result and we were punished by that.” Abdulai Gazale told StarTimes.
The Porcupine Warriors lie 3rd on the log with 14 points from eight games as the league goes on break for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
