The Black Stars of Ghana have been given a huge boost ahead of their 2022 FIFA World Cup opener against Portugal.
The Black Stars are making their fourth appearance at the global football showpiece after their debut entry in the 2006 edition held in Germany.
The Black Stars managed to finish at the group stage of the competition much to the happiness of the entire Ghanaian nation.
The second appearance for the Black Stars was in 2010 in South Africa and it was a better performance from the first World Cup in Germany.
The Black Stars were able to qualify from the group stage of the competition all the way to the quarter final stage of the competition.
There was a third appearance for the Black Stars in 2014 where Brazil hosted the tournament. The Black Stars had a tournament to forget.
News has it that, goalkeeper Jojo Wollacott might land in Qatar to play for the Black Stars after undergoing a successful finger surgery.
