Striker, a Ghanaian actor who appeared in the Hollywood film “Beast of No Nation” with the now-famous Abraham Atta, has been reduced to begging on the streets of Accra.
Emmanuel Nii Adom Quaye, aka Striker, claims that he is now employed as a carpenter by a single elderly client who provides him with enough “chop money” to get by.
“In order to make ends meet, I’ve started assisting a carpenter friend of mine. You would be moved to tears right now if you saw my nighttime sleeping quarters.
“I’m in need of some kind of supervision. I already possess the acting skills necessary. Help me acquire competent management so I may succeed like my buddy Abraham Atta. Sadly, the striker proclaimed.
Amandzeba claims that he ran with Striker today at the Funny Love radio studios and that they had a heartfelt conversation about Striker’s unfortunate circumstances.
The Hollywood film “Beast of No Nation,” which featured Striker and Abraham Atta, was filmed on location in Ghana. The film’s two main protagonists, played by Idris Elba and Abraham Atta, won many accolades.
