The National Democratic Congress (NDC) will begin its regional election conferences across the country today, Friday, November 11, 2022.
The exercise will end on November 13, 2022, a Sunday.
The party expects delegates to adhere strictly to all established guidelines.
NDC delegates in the Greater Accra Region will vote today at the Du Bois Memorial Center for the roles of youth organizer and women organizer.
Delegates will choose a new Chairman, Secretary, and Organizer among other candidates for the Greater Accra Region at the Tema Sports facility on Sunday.
Rita Odoley Sowah, a member of the Polls Committee, said in an interview with Citi News that everything is ready for the elections.
Over 50 people are enthusiastically competing for about 20 positions in the Western Region.
Three persons will run against the current Party Chairman, Ade Coker, in the Greater Accra Region.
Nii Ashie Moore, a former Member of Parliament for Adentan, Michael Kwetey Tetteh, a former parliamentary hopeful for Ningo Prampram, and Thomas Mustapha Ashong, a Greater Accra Regional Youth Organizer, are among the three.
Additionally, a number of current executives in the Northern Region are running for re-election.
The applications to run for office have been sent in by the regional secretary, Mohammed Abdul Salam, the youth organizer, Karim Abdul Mumin, and the regional organizer, Abubakari Abdallah Baba.
