English Premier League side, Manchester United have reportedly joined the race to sign Black Stars winger Fatawu Issahaku.
The winger currently plays for Sporting Club Lisbon and has been rated as one of the stars of the future.
According to sources, the Ghanaian wonderkid is seen as a version of the Crisitiano Ronaldo that the club signed from Sporting Lisbon in the 2003/2004 season. However, the club will not proceed with any move until after the world cup.
Football pundits have also showered praises on the player, comparing him to the sort of impact that Bruno Fernandes made in his first season at the Manchester club. In a discussion on radio, GIVEMESPORT pundit Aarons said “I think Manchester United, eventually, in that Bruno Fernandes sort of role just behind the striker, scoring lots of goals. He had an amazing record in the Ghanaian league. He was playing men’s football very young and scored loads of goals in that number 10 position. He is a real name to watch.”
Fatawu Issahaku is expected to be in the final 26-man squad for the Ghana Black Stars ahead of the World Cup in Qatar this month.
