Black Stars midfielder, Mohammed Kudus says it will be a great experience to play against Cristiano Ronaldo of Portugal.
The Black Stars have been paired against the European country, Uruguay and South Korea in group H for the FIFA World Cup that starts in the next two weeks in Qatar.
The Black Stars are making their fourth appearance at the World Cup having already appeared three straight times.
Their debut show was in Germany 2006 before subsequently appearing in South Africa 2010 and the 2014 edition in Brazil where they exited at the group stage.
The Black Stars made the round 16 in the first World Cup appearance but there was a huge improvement in the second edition where they qualified for the quarter final stage in South Africa 2010.
“I think it will be a great moment to share the same pitch with an iconic player like Cristiano Ronaldo. We all look up to him and watched him on TV so it will be a great experience sharing the same field with him but with all the respect, we will approach the game with the same mentality,” he stated on Countdown Qatar on TV3.
