Irate demonstrators led by some popular youths activists today storm the streets of Greater Accra to vent their frustrations on the government for the high cost of living in the country.
The demonstration dubbed Kumi Preko Reloaded saw prominent youths activists such as the national youth organizer of the National Democratic Congress, George Opare Addo, Edem Agbana, Binney etc and more frustrated youths storming the streets to protest.
In the course of their protest, they were ordered to submit petition to the court which they adhered to.
Taking to his official Facebook page, George Opare Addo said president Akufo Addo want to use the court to frustrate them, but they cannot be clamped. He said they are poised for a better Ghana and not the court or the military can stop them.
“President Akufo Addo can only use the courts to frustrate us but he can’t clamp us down! We will continue to exercise our rights regardless of the schemes and communist inferior tactics! Youth Arise!!”
