Former President Mahama’s address tonight carried brims with nuggets of wisdom on how to halt our economic decline and it was a very practical proposal.
Former President John Dramani Mahama mentioned that there is a temptation to say I told you so, and that temptation is very strong. But we do not believe this is the time for the vainglorious pursuit of vindication. And neither is there room for gloating over the current predicament.
Let’s consciously eat more of our local food rice, cassava, and beans to support the economy and if there was ever a time to be thrifty, this is it. What can we do as citizens?

We are in this mess because an untouchable finance minister, relying on his databank staff and ignoring seasoned finance experts, decides to go on a reckless borrowing spree. Why do we have a free SHS secretariat when the GES is well-equipped to handle it?
After listening and letting it not be claimed that the opposition has not offered alternatives even as the government remains in sixes and sevens and tally useless.
