Multiple award-winning rapper Sarkodie has eulogized sensational young artist Black Sherif as he says Ghanaians are proud of him.
Black Sherif has been breaking boundaries with his songs and has managed to put Ghana on the map. The young artist has become one of the rising stars in the music industry.
During the private cocktail of Black Sherif over the weekend, Sarkodie praised Black Sherif for his great works and also celebrated his debut album, ‘The Villian I Never Was”. Sarkodie stated that Black Sherif’s track titled ‘Soja’ has won the hearts of Ghanaians and the heart of his international fans.
Sarkodie also mentioned that the young artist Black Sherif and his songs have become one of the most demanding in many countries and he as a fan of Black Sherif is proud of the musician and his achievements.
International Blacko. I think it’s how every Ghanaian feels and we all feel super proud. The fact that when you go somewhere you hear your country on the radio. I went to South Africa to shoot my new project and I go to the club and it’s Blacko’s music (playing),” he said.
Sarkodie added that “I am talking about the biggest song that the people are looking at, the highest peak, and to see that and knowing that it is coming from my country makes me super proud.”
