Today, I bring you a very simple recipe. It’s safe for the whole family. Are you a vegan? Don’t worry I’ve got you too. It’s a very simple and easy to make recipe. You don’t need to be a chef to be able to make this one. It’s called the banana oatmeal smoothie.
In about 10 minutes or less you’ll be done with this recipe. All you need is some bananas(overripe) ones are better. Overripe ones because there is no sugar required for this recipe. The banana is the natural sweetener here, so the more Overripe the banana is the more sweeter it is. Your other ingredients are oatmeal, any milk of your choice and vanilla essence which is optional
I’m not giving any measurement because everyone would like it to suit their taste. I believe in, doing you, when it comes to food as well
Pour all your ingredients in a blender. Blend until everything is smooth, or you can just blend to get a rough texture. Pour it into your cup or jar. You can either enjoy it right away or you can refrigerate it.
Before I forget if you’re extra like me, you can add a teaspoon of vanilla essence while blending. It takes the taste to another level trust me.
Mind you because of the banana the mixture darkens overtime. When that happens don’t panic it’s just because the bananas have come into contact with air. I personally don’t know how to prevent it. Kindly let us know the solution, if you know it in the comment section.
