Former John Evans Atta Mills assistant Koku Anyidoho has requested prayers for President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
He thinks that the president and the country as a whole require divine intervention, and that it is crucial for Ghanaians to really pray for the President and the country.
Anyidoho emphasized in a tweet on September 25 that it was that the president himself was a pious person.
I am more than certain that we need to go down on our knees and really pray for the President and Mother Ghana because we unquestionably need God’s intervention to bless our homeland Ghana.
He tweeted two images along with the comment, Thank God the President himself is on his knees praying. One shows the president kneeling while receiving prayer from clerics, while the other shows the president himself in the same posture.
Despite claiming to be a full member of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Anyidoho, the CEO of the Atta-Mills Institute (AMI), is well recognized for being a supporter of the president and the present administration.
The two men last interacted in front of the public during the reopening of the renovated Asomdwee Park, which is where the late President Atta Mills is buried.
On the tenth anniversary of Atta-Mills’ demise, the AMI reopened the institution after receiving government funding for renovations.
