I still wonder why Patrick Pfeiffer has not been called up to the National Team. Why did you make him switch nationality yet you don’t invite him to the national team?
A central defender who is 1,96 cm and also very young (23 years). The guy can be the perfect replacement for Daniel Amartey on the right side of the defense. Because of his height, he wins all the area balls and therefore prevents air threats from facing the defensive line.
Patrick Pfeiffer is also good on the ball and has very good speed for his height yet he has not received any invitation to the Ghana black stars.
I’m of the view that if he had played against Brazil in a 3-defense backline, with the likes of Alexander Djiku and Mohamed Salissu we would not concede the goals from the corner kick and the set piece. This player is also used to the back 3 system at his club which means he can fill that position perfectly.
We have nothing against Daniel Amartey but his performance recently has not been outstanding and therefore we must create competition in that position so that he can improve his game. This also goes to Baba Rahman, the Ayew brothers, and Iddrissu Baba who should not be starters but rather come from the bench.
We all watched the game, and we saw a huge difference and a better performance of the ghana black stars in the second half. This simply means at if we had started the players who came into the second we wouldn’t have been dominated in the first half because those players are competitive.
This is the time the coach needs to be bold and take the bull by the horns.
